The New York Yankees have been improperly restrained by actions of MLB and the commissioners office.
 
This letter to provide you with notice of antitrust and other legal problems raised by MLB's attempts to restrain competition and to force the Yankees to join in a boycott of Adidas.
 
This letter requests that MLB cease and desist in actions seeking to restrain the Yankees from freely contracting with the Adidas International Ltd.

This letter seeks to have MLB to reconsider their position or allow the Yankees to move forward with its plans to contract with Adidas International Ltd.  If The Yankees do not receive notice from MLB that MLB has withdrawn its efforts to limit The Yankees rights to enter into a licensing agreement with Adidas, The Yankees will have not option but to seek redress in court.
